FAQs

  • We have club runs every day of the week. That said, our big run is on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. at Loantaka Park off South Street. We have runners and even some walkers of all abilities. Many of our club runners will do either an 8 or 10 mile loop run. Many choose to make Saturday their long-run day and will run additional miles either before or after. However, we have runners who choose to run shorter distances. We often find that those who join us end up running longer than they had expected once they take a conversational pace with some other friendly runners.

  • On Saturday, we'll have runners from paces as quick as 7:30-8 min pace to as slow as a run/walk pace. Most of our runners tend to be in the middle around a 9-10 min pace. As we usually have dozens of runners on our Saturday runs, no runner is ever left behind.

  • Yes! You are welcome to come to as many runs as you like. We encourage those who enjoy running with the club to join as they'll receive the weekly newsletter with upcoming events, races and results. However there is no obligation to join.

  • We encourage walkers to join us as well. We have a pretty consistent group of walkers who meet for our 8 a.m. outing. They tend to go out for about an hour to an hour and a half through Loantaka Park.

  • While some of our members choose to run with hydration most do not because we have a water station set up at the 5.5 mile mark in Green Village. Additionally, we have water, sporks drinks, coffee and occasionally some snacks at the end of our Saturday run.

  • The cost is $32.50 a year. The fee includes up to four additional family members. If you join near the end of the year, your membership will be prorated for the following year as well. Those interested in joining can become members here: https://runsignup.com/Club/NJ/Summit/AmazingFeetRunningClub

  • You will receive the weekly newsletter along with invites to club events and trips. You will receive discounts to retailers like Fleet Feet and Sneaker Factory. Also, when you join you will get a free t-shirt.

  • Yes, our club is a member of the USATF New Jersey chapter. You can request to join or transfer your club affiliation by contacting https://newjersey.usatf.org/
